As most you probably know the original product comes with some of bugs and mistakes. If you have not installed the official patch to fix them, you can turn this bugs in a whole newoffensive strategy. The bug i am about to talk about affect only your away games. For this kind of strategy you wont need any special skilled player. Any regular player can execute that way. If you attempt a fake shot without shooting the ball the defensive player also do not bite on the fake. But if attempt a real shot just after the fake one the defensive player still do not bite. That way you get an open jumper. No defensive ever on away games! If you have a decent shooter you can bury them beyond the three point line. You can go down on the block and you can make almost every shot effortless. I have experience a C with FG rating only 35 and i was making 8 of 10.
There is a case when this strategy might not work. If you are attempting a fake shot and at the same time the defensive player is attempting a steal he might steal the ball. But the more important thing in that case is that you have to attempt another fake shot in order to get the open look. It is very simple and more importantly very affective.
