Denver are done!

This is the night when we are gettin throught the first round of the nba playoff for couple of years! I can not believe it! We are up 3 0 against the denver nuggets...so far there is NO team in the NBA that has come back from such deficite. After the embarassing game two nights ago in the pepsi center i think we wont be having diffculties taking them out! After the game even Melo attacked George Karl and it seems like everything is falling apart for the nuggets

Lets go Lakers!

This is our year Kobe-Gasol-Odom! I have not been so happy with our team in years... um is there is anyone out there that can beat us? NO! This is it!

Outfit and gear...yeah right.

People like to dress differently this is the reason there are so many designers out there. People sometimes need to be dressed particular way so this is the reason why the need of more particular is so high right now. There are aslo people that need to have some specific gear to their outfit in order to do their job properly. There are people that need to have Surefire flashlights on them or any other piece of equipement. I wonder how their life would look like?

Quick NBA tip.

Ok i found a little time to drop one quick tip on NBA live. It is very general tip and you can execute it on almost every game of the series.

This is simple and very effective. It is a defensive technique that will prevent you opponent from scoring. It does NOT require any good or great players do it. Although you need to have your level of awarness very high in order to do it how it is supposed to be done.

Force the CPU to make mistakes. This is it and will tell you how to make the CPU turn the ball over a lot. There is some kind of algorythm that tell CPU player to make a step backwards while moving when you have a defensive player right in his face. The offensive player has to be moving this important and he has to be with his face to our basket. He is moving slowly not on sprint another important element. Normally when you approach him and go for the steal he will make a step backwards as i stated earlier. How this can help you? The timing is very important if you catch up with him near the hal court and do what i have described above the offensive player will make a step backwards and step in his part of the court. A backcourt violation is called on him.

Forcing the CPU in turnovers is very easy you have to know how to do it. I have done this one literally hundreds of times!

Nuggets are already dead!

Their bus was on fire but they obviously didnt. I am so happy with last nights' victory over the Denver Nuggets. The pressure was on. All the players just did all the little things needed. Pau, Kobe, Odom the next NBA champs! Book my words! Here is short interview.

"It feels amazing, it feels great. I had a blast out there," the 7-foot Spaniard said after shooting 14-of-20 from the floor and 8-of-8 from the foul line. "We did a pretty good job, we can do better. We're happy with the win, I'm happy with the win. Hopefully there will be many more."Every guy on our team is doing an amazing job out there, and I'm just one of them."

I knew he could perform at a high level," Lakers star Kobe Bryant said. "This just ain't Memphis. I think this offense has freed him up a little bit and showcased more what he can do instead of just being in the post all the time."

"It's tough to match up against us for a variety of reasons. We have guys that can finish, we have a a great 1-2 punch, and all of our guys can pass all ball."

"They do an excellent job of finding him around the basket," Denver's Kenyon Martin said."Pau is so versatile, he just opens the game up," Odom said. "He was past good, he was amazing."

"I think the film will show it was the Los Angeles Lakers who tore us up," Karl said. "Gasol played great, don't get me wrong. He had a lot of great decisions for him to get a lot of easy baskets."

"I don't think anyone in our locker room is deflated," Karl said. "We know that we can play better than we did, and defense is probably the first thing we'll address."

You get the picture! Lakers on top!

The worlds is ours!

"It was a big game for us," Bryant said. "It was another step in the right direction. Going into the playoffs is all about momentum. Now, we just have to take it up another notch once the playoffs start."The Lakers (56-25), who clinched their first Pacific Division championship in four years and at least the No. 3 seed in the West on Friday night, will win the conference title if they beat the visiting Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. The Lakers went home after Sunday's game uncertain of their status because the Houston Rockets had a chance to overtake them for the conference title by winning their final three games because they hold the tie-breaker should the teams finish in a tie. But the Rockets (54-26) lost to Denver 111-94 Sunday night. So if the Lakers beat the Kings, they're assured of finishing ahead of everybody in the West except New Orleans, which could only tie them. And Los Angeles wins the tie-breaker over the Hornets by virtue of a better conference record. That would mean home-court advantage in the first three rounds of the playoffs."It's still our responsibility to finish this the right way," Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. "And that was our message in the locker room after the game. Fortunately for us, we got some rest, got some guys who had a little bit of time to recover before Tuesday night."Lamar Odom, the only Los Angeles starter to play in the final period, added 17 points and 14 rebounds before coming out for good with 4:26 remaining. Pau Gasol had 14 points and 11 rebounds, Derek Fisher also scored 14, Jordan Farmar added 11 points and Ronny Turiaf scored 10 for the Lakers, who outscored the Spurs 53-32 in the second half."They're the best in the West at this point," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "Their rhythm is good, everybody knows their roles, they are playing confidently, defense looks very good. Heck of a team."The Lakers outrebounded San Antonio 51-36, including 31-16 after halftime, and the Spurs shot just 11-of-37 after halftime after going 22-of-42 in the opening 24 minutes."What a half. We came out and played an exceptional second half," Jackson said. "We were on our heels at the end of the first half, [Tony] Parker was jamming the ball down our throat and we couldn't seem to find a way to stop him. I thought the second half we came out and made a good defensive stand and stopped penetration."Bryant said he believes the Lakers have found their defensive identity."It's just like offense," he said. "You have to find out what your identity is. I think we have found that defensively. We are very aggressive. We have a tremendous amount of versatility -- wings and bigs who are fast and athletic and long. We can get after guys."Parker had 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists, but was held to two points after halftime. Tim Duncan added 16 points and 12 rebounds and Ime Udoka scored 14 for the Spurs (54-26), who lost for just the third time in 13 games. The Spurs played without leading scorer Manu Ginobili, who missed his second game because of a strained left groin. Robert Horry hasn't played since March 21 because of a bruised left knee."Come playoff time, we'll have as good a chance as anybody to do well," Popovich said. The game was tied at 53 at halftime. Fisher scored 10 points during a 17-6 run to start the third period, giving the Lakers a 70-59 lead, and the Spurs weren't closer than seven after that.Bryant scored seven points in the last 2 1/2 minutes of the quarter, including a 3-pointer at the buzzer, to make it 79-67 entering the final period. The Spurs missed their first seven field-goal attempts of the third quarter and wound up going 3-for-17 in the period. The Lakers put the game away by outscoring the Spurs 19-5 to start the fourth quarter for a 98-72 lead."We haven't played well in about three, four, five games now," Duncan said. "We've just have got to find a way to make some shots."

The moment of truth!

Here we are less than two hours to tip off. I hope and i pray that the Lakers beat the Spurs. This is it. If we win we remain on the top! We have not finished at the top place in the regular season for years. This is big year. Kobe for MVP! I am absolutely thrilled! Cant wait the game to start!

New Orleans here we come!

The moment of truth has come! Tonights game is one of the most important in the season for the Los Angeles Lakers. We are only two games behind the New Orleans Hornets for the first place in the western conference. The only chance that the Lakers are getting the first seed is only wins from tonights game to the end of the season. I still can get over the weak game and loss to Portland Trail Blazers. It is time to gather all the troops at 150% and get some wins. This is not only a fight for the first seed but for the race of the regular season MVP award. Kobe's main contender is CP3. If New Orleans remain on the top spot in the western conference it is very likely that he is getting the award. So not only conference but an individual award is also on the map.

Kobe still has not won the regular season MVP award. Altough this is his eleventh year in the league. This award is very important for him and for us the lakers fan.

GO LAKERS!

Playoffs baby!

It has been long season now. But finally the Lakers cliched playoff berth! And this time they are doing it big. They are sharing the second place with the San Antonio Spurs. They have a tie they have a game they will meet each other very soon at the staples center in downtown Los Angeles. They have a chance to get the top spot in the western confernce as they have also a game with the conference leader - New Orleance. I am personally hoping that the Lakers will pull away mad with all the games to the end of the regular season! Last night it was a good team effort against the Sacramento Kings. Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom and Kobe seem like are playing together pretty well. Cant wait till Andrew Bynum returns to the lineup.

Go Lakers!

Player grades.

Kobe A on court B for citizenship, too many techs this year, needs to learn to shuss up

Fisher A for effort, and being a team leader, B for actual perfomance

Odom B could be an A by the end of the season

Bynum B on the court, big honking A for his improvement

Pau strong B like odom an A is on the horizon

Turiaf B great effort and hustle, game play improving nightly, he has been the teams saving grace with the bigs down

Luke B- for finding ways to contribute while shuffled up anddown the roster depending on the lakers needs, and quietly fighting through the injuries and doing all the little things that go unrecognized

Sasha B- nice shooting tex, nice hustle on defense

Farmar C+ his improvement this year has been astonishing from his rookie season, needs to play within himself but that will come

Vlad Rad C could easily be better but the grade represents the inconsistancies in his game, like sasha he has only two things to worry about shoot and defend and until he does both better he gets a lower grade

ariza, mihm, newble, mbenga and karl, N/A at this time not enough game time to see you play

Coaching Staff A. for diffusing an off season that could have been a huge disaster and turning the group into winners inspite of kobes insults and seemingly early efforts to drag his feet...

Buss, Mitch and Crew for taking the high road through it all and proving my faith in you was not misplaced A+
